Week 4 - Make Life Really Simple with RSS and a News Reader

To be very honest I've always wanted to try and use rss but im lazy at times :-) Well now I can check them out and learn a little more.

I've never used Flickr before but found it was very interesting. I even signed up for an account. When I have a little more time I think I will go back and mess around.

WEEK 2: Set Up Your Own Blog

My blog is now set up and I'm registered finally. I'm on my way YAHOO.

Week 1, Thing 1: About This Program

It is a self-paced, online program to help library staff learn about new technologies. Participants will learn how to set up and maintain their own blog, discover what Flickr and mash-ups are all about, and see how other libraries are using these new technologies to benefit their customers and staff.
